job

got a call about a job in burnswick ga it,s right on the coast and warmer then here with no snow on the ground.still tring to dig out so i can get to a fax machine.the company thats maning up the job has a 15 page app u have to fill out.and fax back to them as well as a 2 page resume and photo copies of your drivers lincense and s.s card plus nccer citerfication and you have to go through a security clearence screening.

snow snow everywhere

well here it is the day after christmas and it,s still SNOWING.have drifts over 2 feet and around 1 foot on the ground.it will take a couple of days to dig uot and still not sure if we can get out of the driveway.and my unemployment money still hasn,t droped onto my debit card.can,t get out of the driveway anyway.

christmas eve

well it,s christmas eve and it,s starting to snow.It rained most of the day then turned to sleet got a good covering before it turned to snow.They say its going to be near bilzzard condtions throught the region all tonight and most of the day tomorrowsill not sure how much snow we will get just have to wait and see

new years

with christams two days away that means that the new year is upon us this year a gone by so quick.it seem like they go faster the older i get or maye it,s just me.probaly wont ring in the new year this year if i do i will set the alarm for midnight wake up a cast a prayer to the universe for letting me see another year come and go and hope it lets me see a whole bunch more of them.well here,s wishing everyone a merry christmas and happy new year.and yes i still call it christmas and if anyone don,t like that that,s their problem.I grew up calling it christmas and will keep calling it christmas until the day i pass on

white chistmas

well they say we are realy going to have a white christmas this year.i haven,t seen a white christmas in a few years.and this one is going to be to soon.I would much rather be in sunny florida but the lack of a job down there prevents that so will stay here and enjoy the snow.Wishing i was somewhere else but thats life.Have to make the best of it and enjoy the comming holidays with my famiy that is here wishing we were all togeather.

unemployment and the hioldays

well not only am i unemployed but one Hoilday has passed us by and two others are upon us namley Christmas and NewYears.Don,t have enough money to put gas in the van to drive around to see christmas lights.Oh well thats what happens when you are not workingthings have to be put aside and delayed are cancled out right.My sister wanted us to come over for christmas eve but can,t do that eather wont get unemployment untill monday or tuesday after christmas.

well here we go again going back to sprint AGAIN and going to stop at r a c AGAIN maybe something will get straightened out this time

had to go a fight with sprint AGAIN for the third time in less then 2 months they changed the billing people i think because after they shifted 900 employes to another company my bill has benn screwed up.then on the ride back home had to fight with rent a center.about the insurance on the account that i have been paying for for two years hope it got straightened out this time

oh well its friday and still no calls for work.still looking to go into truck driver training we will see

I like being home like most people do.Buti,m so bored nothing to do around the house.Replaced the theromstat and kitchen facuets but other then that there is nothing to do

don,t know about this economy these days they say its improving yea right can,t prove it by me still no work out there for a electrician with 25 years in the trade.mostly heave industrial construction but some commerical.was never fast enough for house wiring.but thats life have to roll with the punches.and make the best of bad time as long as i have family around nothing gets too badfor me to handle because family is everything money and other thing are secondary.just have to keep looking ahead and hope something break soon so i can go back to work.

well filled out another app.with ups have to be at their distrubtion complex on dec.9th for a interview hope all goes well

holidays

well the holidays are upon us the weather sucks.the job market sucks.oh well thats life just have to muddle through it and keep your loved ones close

i,m still looking for work but no hope left in finding one before first of the year.put in for seasonal work with ups but looks like that fell through too

well the weather is getting into the act now its cloudy,windy,and getting colder outside so now i,m stuck in missouri in the winter

can,t even get a job through the local union.they have the work but have 385 people on the books.so they don,t want to bring anymore people in (figures)

Got the car back today.Still havent heard from n.c. yet hope to tomorrow.found out there are no local un emp;oyment in the area the cloestest seems to be in b,ham.

don,t know if my other post went through or not.was having trouble with the network here.Well got laid off yesterday figured i would as Hunt Oil has been tighting down on their purse strings.go figure since i just bought a camper,a van and a car.
